Choepa is a cultural event when the Bhutanese communities in some villages make offering to the gods and enlightened beings in general and the local tutelary deities in particular. The occasion for making offering is often celebrated with cham dances, rituals and parade of their relics. Many Bhutanese festivals are called choepa.
