Laudatory Lozey

Laudatory lozeys are sung in praise of someone. They are either chanted without a counterpart in praise of divine figures and exalted persons or sometime sung as praises of the person to whom it is chanted. Like other lozeys, one can find laudatory lozeys which were already composed and also extemporaneous compositions created on the spot. In content and style, the laudatory lozeys would use metaphors and flowery language.
