Bhutanese communities have dramas and operatic performances, in which the performers often wear masks. While most have a spiritual or religious message and content, there are also dance-dramas such as Handsome Men and Beautiful Women are performance which tell worldly stories and convey a ordinary human messages. There are many dance dramas by clown figure for entertainment through humour and satire.
