Out-of-School Suspension

Out-of-school suspension refers to a school-based disciplinary action in which a student is temporarily excluded from classes and other school functions and may not enter the school premises. Often, students are often forbidden from entering sites for off-campus events such as dances or sporting events. This suspension from school activities takes place for a predetermined amount of time, after which the student is reintegrated into the school community.
