Spatial or Temporal Provenance
- ལྷ་ས་ནས་ཆབ་མདོ་བར་དུ། “From Lhasa to Chamdo”
- ཆུ་ཚོད་གསུམ་པ་ནས་ལྔ་པ་བར་དུ། “From three to five o’clock”
Note: The ablative is often associated with verbs indicating acquisition, such as བརྙེད་ “to find,” ཉོ་ “to buy,” ཐོབ་ “to obtain,” གཡར་ “to borrow,” རག་ “to get, find,” and verbs of movement such as འགྲོ་ “to go.”
- ཁྲོམ་ནས་ཉོས་པ་རེད། “Bought from the market....”
- ལམ་ཁག་ནས་བརྙེད་བྱུང་། “I found it on the road.” (Literally: “found it from....”)
- འདི་ནས་འགྲོ། “Go through here.” (Literally: “from here.”)
