This construction appears in several expressions consisting of the pronoun གང་ (“what,” “as much”) followed by an adjective or, sometimes, a verb or an adverb, usually doubled.

  • གང་མགྱོགས་མགྱོགས་ “As quickly as possible”
  • གང་ཡག་ཡག་ “As well as possible”
  • གང་མང་མང་ “As many as possible”
  • གང་གཟབ་གཟབ་ “As carefully as possible”
  • གང་ཡོད་ཡོད་ “As much as possible”

We also find གང་ in several constructions such as:
