It is common for a traditional Bhutanese to consult a diviner or an astrologer before starting any significant project for the right time, place and rituals to launch the project. Diviner use occult power, divination manuals, astrolgoical charts and calculations and intuition to identify causes of problems or foretell future turn of events. They also recommend the measures to be taken to avoid problems or bring about a certain result.
