The Bhutanese claim that the Drukpa masters are the lords of creating auspicious circumtances. It is perhaps due to such belief that Bhutanese have ceremonies for engendering auspicious conditions through prayers, felicitations and celebratory beginning for almost every good events in life. House constructions, job transfers and promotions, project launches, public festivities and celebrations are all initiated with some pomp and ceremony with the aim of garnering auspicious conditions.
