"Interview" signifies verbal exchange between two or more people that is structured by questions and answers, and usually has a formal goal in mind, such as a newspaper article, survey, job application, or television interview.

The Open Language Archives Community (OLAC) standards combine this with "conversation" under the header of "interactive discourse"
